Féile na Tána, one of the best little Irish traditional music festivals in the world, are happy to announce their 12th festival will take place from 25th January - 2nd February 2026 bringing the finest exponents of music, song and dance to Carlingford, Co. Louth!

Art Exhibition at the Station House, Carlingford throughout the festival week with artists Martina Scott, Claire McAteer and more.


📍Sunday 25th January @ 13:30 | Age Friendly Session | Free admission

To start the festival an age friendly session will take place in Carlingford Nursing Home led by Paddy McIntyre. All welcome to come along.


📍Sunday 25th January @ 16:00 | Talk: From Dancing to Listening | Ti Chulainn, Mullaghbawn

Reflections by Dr. Fintan Vallely on the role of South Ulster in the 75 years of the transformation of Traditional music from being social to personal, from casual to professional, from being the only available music to being a choice among many genres.

Liam O Maonlaí (singer/songwriter), Vincent Woods (poet) and the Harp Ireland All-Ireland Ensemble led by harper Síofra Ní Dhubhghaill present a reimagining of music of the ancient harpers by the acclaimed composer Michael Rooney.

Presented in association with Na Piobairí Uileann, this pop up event allows people of all ages to try a set of pipes, and will feature a talk and demonstration by pipers, Liam Winnett and Seamus Ong.

Bill Whelan - world premiere of a new work for four Irish harps commissioned for the festival. Featuring harpers Aisling Lyons, Cormac de Barra, Gráinne Meyer & Séamus Ó Flatharta. Also featuring a duo performance by Caoimhe & Séamus Ó Flatharta on vocals, whistles, flute & harp, Zoë Conway & John Mc Intyre on fiddle & guitar.

📍Sunday 1st February @ 16:00 | St. Brigid's Day: Praise the Young! Musician’s Concert | The Four Seasons Hotel, Carlingford

Featuring solo & group performances from over 60 leading young musicians from the area and around Ireland including 'The Sweet Suite' composed and performed by Nós Nua Youth Folk Orchestra led by Ryan Molloy & Fergal Scahill, Music Generation Louth Harp Ensemble, Scoil Naomh Lorcan, Bush Post Primary Trad ensembles & more. In memory of the late John Mc Kevitt who was a volunteer with Féile na Tána.
