Creative Spark is proud to present Bailiú, a group exhibition showcasing new work by artists from the 2025/26 Artist-in-Residence Programme. Featuring a diverse range of practices and media, the exhibition brings together work by OMIN, Gráinne Mulligan, Léa Babé, Jeremy Leung, Greta Usaite, and Maria McSweeney. The title Bailiú translates as collection; accumulation, while bailiú refers to a gathering or assembly of people. The exhibition reflects both meanings, bringing together artists whose individual practices have developed through a year of research, experimentation, and exchange.

Through painting, drawing, photography, digital and interdisciplinary approaches, the works explore themes of memory, place, identity, and connection. Each artist presents a distinct perspective shaped by their time at Creative Spark, where ideas, conversations, and creative processes have been nurtured within a supportive artistic community.

Bailiú marks the twelfth year of the Artist-in-Residence exhibition hosted at An Táin Arts Centre. The Creative Spark Residency Programme, supported by the Arts Service of Louth County Council and the Arts Council of Ireland, is dedicated to providing essential support to artists. The programme offers dedicated studio space, research time, extensive resources, and unique creative opportunities that might otherwise be unavailable within individual studio practices. Over the past twelve years, this pioneering programme has supported and championed emerging and established artists, fostering a culture of artistic excellence, experimentation, and innovation.
