UNITED WINGS EID AL-FITR FESTIVAL 2026

Supported and funded through Hands 4 Unity CLG, the United Wings Eid al-Fitr Festival is a vibrant and inclusive community celebration taking place in Drogheda, bringing people together in the spirit of unity, culture, and shared joy.

Led by United Wings, a newly established community group formed by women from Pakistan, the festival celebrates diversity, promotes inclusion, and creates a welcoming space for connection across cultures.

Hands 4 Unity CLG, an organisation committed to building stronger and more inclusive communities, is proud to support and empower emerging groups like United Wings, reflecting the power of collaboration and community-led initiatives in Drogheda.

The festival will feature free food, henna art, music, laughter, and rich cultural experiences, offering something for everyone—families, young people, and the wider community. It provides an opportunity to celebrate Eid al-Fitr while showcasing the beauty of cultural diversity and fostering meaningful connections among residents.

This event is proudly funded under the Louth County Council Festival Grant Initiative 2026, secured and administered by Hands 4 Unity CLG to support grassroots initiatives that enhance community spirit, inclusion, and cultural expression.
