St. Patrick’s Weekend is shaping up to be a special one in Drogheda!

Running from Saturday 14th to Tuesday 17th March, this years theme is 'Once Upon A Panto', marking 75 wonderful years of the Drogheda Pantomime Society, a beloved institution that has brought generations together over the years. So get ready for fairy tales, fabulous costumes, larger-than-life characters and plenty of sparkle as the town transforms into a storybook spectacular! 👑🌟

The town is set to come alive with free entertainment for all ages — from art workshops and magical children’s activities to live music, dancing, markets, and great food along the riverside.

Enjoy performances from local choirs, bands and dance groups, soak up the festival atmosphere, and don’t miss Sunday’s fireworks 🎆💫

The centrepiece of the celebrations will be the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Tuesday 17th March at 12 noon where Drogheda’s town centre streets will come alive with colour, performance and celebration – it’s going to be a parade straight out of a fairytale! 🏰✨

The parade route will start at Palace Street and finish at the DeLacy Bridge, with a dedicated Sensory Area on Dominic’s Street to ensure the event is welcoming and inclusive for everyone ☘️

The celebrations culminate with family entertainment throughout the afternoon. A brilliant few days out for everyone!
