A double bill featuring two of Ireland’s most critically acclaimed songwriters, Seán “Doctor” Millar (“an Irish national treasure” – The Irish Times) and SJ McArdle (“an artist who has taken contemporary Irish music to parts it far too seldom reaches” – Hotpress).

Doctor Millar is a critically acclaimed multi award nominated musician, writer and theatre maker from Dublin. He has released five Solo albums and written and composed for several award-winning theatre shows.

Droichead’s audience need no introduction to contemporary Drogheda folk artist Stephen Joseph McArdle, a songwriter, musician and curator, known for his RTÉ Radio 1 Album of the Week Old Ghosts In The Water and its accompanying song cycle/stage show PORT.
