This is a fundraising event to raise funds for St. Brigid's Shrine for grounds work and facilities maintenance/upgrade and is the first event for the 'Daughter of Faughart' initiative.

St. Brigid's Shrine has seen an increase in visitors over the last few years including Tour Groups and International visitors. The aim of the proposed works is to attract the Pilgrim to the silence and to a place of rest, welcome visitors to the beauty of the rugged landscape of mountains, stones, ferns, heather and to enjoy the healing waters of long ago. For the youth, walkers and those interested in the historical and heritage of the sacred site it is a timeless destination to be discovered.
