Talk by Nancy Fitzgerald (Author of Brigid’s Mantle)

Brigid has more holy wells than any other saint. Nancy will talk about some of the wells that she visited in different parts of Ireland and she will discuss why the story of Brigid, who helped shape the church in the early centuries, was later muted. Nancy's discoveries point to a story of hope, a story of what it once was and what it could be again.
