St. Patrick's Cathedral

At the heart of Dunalk town stands an imposing gothic design cathedral, inspired by a chapel at King's College in Cambridge, England and named after St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland.
The church features beautiful stained glass windows, and the chancel window behind the altar depicts some Irish saints, including St. Patrick, St. Brigid, St. Dympna, St. Malachy, St. Ita, St. Columba, St. Oliver Plunkett and St. Fanchea.
The beautiful mosaic sanctuary walls are also very impressive.
