Carlingford Lough

The region surrounding the lough is famous for myths and legends of Celtic warriors, and the area is also abundant in historical heritage sites.  The picturesque medieval village of Carlingford nestled on the shores of the lough, is a place brimming with character and is one of the best preserved medieval villages in Ireland.
