Blue Flag Beaches

The beautiful beaches at Port, Templetown and Clogherhead in Co. Louth are Blue Flag beaches (awarded annually).  Louth is the smallest county in Ireland but it is justifiably proud of its diverse coastline, which stretches from the mouth of the River Boyne to the Cooley Mountains. The three Blue Flag beaches provide a safe environment for locals and visitors alike to enjoy swimming, water sports and a great family day at the beach.

Green Coast Awards

The Green Coast Award is a symbol of environmental excellence and has been established to acknowledge, promote and protect the environment of our beaches.  Seapoint Beach, Termonfeckin has again been awarded a Green Coast Award for 2023.
